Services Offered:

Spyware/Adware Removal- 50.00/Per Removal
While other vendors charge a flat fee as well, it can range from 75.00 just to look at plus labor to well over 150.00. Since a large part of spyware removal is tedious and automated I don't feel right charging that much. It can often take at least an hour, usually more to diagnose and properly remove the many variants of adware/spyware that are out there. These programs are different than viruses in that they do not replicate themselves onto other computers, and generally do not destroy data. Both can be relatively easily cured and a system can be hardened against most common forms of both spyware/adware and viruses.

Hardware/Software Upgrades and OS Re-installation/Data Recovery- 50.00/hr, plus cost of Hardware/Software. One Hour minimum.

Most Hardware and software installations are relatively quick and easy unless you do not have the original OS discs or have only a restore partition-these cases will be handled on a situational basis. I will work with you to make sure that what you want and what you need will serve you not only for now, but down the road.

Data backup can be done up to 40 Gigabytes at a time, and unless you have a huge amount of Data, usually in an hour or so. Recovering deleted files or backing up a failing hard drive have their own problems that can be addressed on an individual basis. Not all data can be recovered all the time. Data recovery can take more than one hour.

Hardware costs will be researched as part of the one hour minimum and  installation can usually be completed within an hour.  

VISTA Rollbacks to XP are more difficult and take more time-they also may invalidate your warranty. Many manufacturers have stopped making XP drivers for new hardware in recent laptops and thus they are chained to VISTA. Rollbacks are possible but only if drivers or equivalences can be found. Approach this at your own risk!!

Training-Software/Hardware (No file sharing, DVD ripping, or DRM Cracking) 15.00 per 1 hour
